What the checker looks at
- Required properties
- name, address (or service area), and a valid @type from the LocalBusiness family.
- Recommended properties
- telephone, url, geo, opening hours, price range, images — what Google uses for the knowledge panel.
- Opening hours
- Overlapping ranges, closing before opening, missing days and badly formatted times.
- Formats
- Phone numbers, URLs, ISO country and currency codes, coordinates.
- Page problems
- Invalid JSON blocks, several competing business entities, generic LocalBusiness instead of a subtype.
- Hosted embeds
- Whether a LocalSchema embed is installed and serving on the page.
